Caregiving Teams

Our caregivers at all Gables locations are organized under two Registered Nurses (RNs). Our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) team leaders coordinate the daily activities of other CNA's on our staff. This level of staffing exceeds the Community-Based Residential Facility regulations in the State of Wisconsin.

In fact, every employee must be certified in the areas of Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, and First Aid, in addition to their job specific certifications like Dietary, Medication Management, etc. The CNA certification is earned after completing the required course of study and working through an on-the-job training period with nurses and experienced CNAs.

Many of our CNAs have years of caregiving experience. Some are young women who plan to go on into nursing careers. All of them truly enjoy working with our residents. They are here because they appreciate the kind of care giving possible in a setting where one-on-one relationships can be more meaningful and satisfying.

Our CNAs understand the value of personalized care and appreciate the quality of care made possible at Gables on the Pond and Gables of Waldo.

We take pride in the fact that Gables on the Pond has had seven years of perfect State Surveys (that's every year since we opened in 1999). Both Gables on the Pond and Gables of Waldo have had perfect surveys and we will continue to strive for perfection in everything we do.
